Wow, it's been a long time since I posted.
I signed up for the "Calorie Stampede" at work. It's a contest where you're in a team of 4, and you get points for gaining, maintaining, or losing weight. I chose maintain, because I don't want to feel inclined to diet. The first weigh-in was today.
The first week of the contest is really next week, though. It's "Nutrition Week". We're supposed to follow Canada's Food Guide and attend a nutrition seminar. It's going to be hard to follow the food guide. But it'll probably be good to eat more fruits and veggies.
My 5K training program is going fairly well. I ran on the treadmill last night after work for 15 minutes, and walked the remainder, for a total of 34 treadmill minutes. 2.28 miles. So far my knees have been cooperating, so I'm happy about that.
